As a debut author, I am aspiring to become published. As a lover of books, old and new, I want to hold a traditional copy of my work in my hands one day.

The Celtic world of Ceridwen, the eldest daughter of the High Priestess, is matriarchal. A world where women rule with magick and great personal sacrifice, struggling to protect it from the aggressive, male-dominated realm beyond the mountains. Ceridwen’s dream is to follow in her mother’s footsteps—if the Goddess will only decide, when she’s not too busy, that Ceridwen is worthy enough to be granted magick.

Ceridwen has two younger sisters, Fflur and Morwenna, who pursue their own destinies in their own stories. What begins as a drop of betrayal in their small valley ripples insidiously outward, reaching far into the outside world. All three sisters battle against a cult that feels that women are incapable of ruling, that utilizes lies, hate and distrust to ensnare their members. And against a King that exploits the fear the cult generates to promote his own selfish interests.

Ceridwen’s story, DAUGHTERS OF GLASLYN, placed third in the paranormal division of YARWA’s competition, The Rosemary, in 2019 and became a finalist for CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Competition this past summer.

Fflur’s story, THE WILDWOODS, tied for first place in the Rosemary this past July.

A good summer for writing.
